Christmas party is a very big deal for us here at Rescue the Poor Uganda. It’s one of those events that we eagerly wait for. Christmas or Christmas Day is an annual commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ, celebrated generally on December 25 (or in the evening of December 24, Christmas Eve, in some countries) as a religious and cultural holiday by billions of people around the world. To us here, its that and more, this year’s Christians will the on Sunday, 25th December.

What does Christmas mean to you?

Christmas is when we get to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Jesus is the Lord and savior of our Lives. To Teddy and Vicky, Christmas is the day when they get to swim, dance, eat, enjoy and get gifts. There is always unlimited supply of things the children can enjoy. We beseech you all to stand with us again this December so we can bring even wider smiles on the faces of the children.
